It's not too late. These things come when you're struck by a muse and fired up with enthusiasm for the future.
As a single, financially-stable, strong-willed and independent woman, here is a list of things I WILL achieve this year:
1. Invest in a gold bar
2. Pay off housing debt
3. Take "I was here" photo at Jiu Zhai Gou lake, China
3. Get promoted to Senior writer in September
4. Start a commercial blog to generate second income
5. Take out a life insurance on The New Boy Friend (3rd phase retirement plan)
I can do it! ROAAARRR!!!

What is 5 all about? How is that done? Being a former life insurance agent, I'm curious. I was with Prudential for about 2 years.
1 thing I know is that you can't pay for a policy for someone and make yourself the beneficiary.
